<title>TDC-100 question...looping. in General Discussions : TD Forum</title>

<description>Mike's question is right on - the ddr must support Odetics protocol for the TDC-100 to be able to control it in the looping mode.&#160; From your description, it sounds like it doesn't.&#160; Protocol may be a setup/config option.&#160; Make sure it's set for Odetics or Sony/Odetics.&#160; The FFV Omega protocol is called 'BVW-75', but it really is Sony/Odetics.BL

<description>So far so good. The button light lag seems to have been fixed. SS menus changed a little, makes it easier to delete stuff. Seems solid. We have been running it for almost 2 weeks.

<description>I'm using A/B channels on the TDC-100 to playback video elements in onset monitors, but can't get the 10 min clips(s) to loop. When I hit &#34;FCN -&#62; Play&#34; it does say &#34;Loop&#34;&#160; as it plays back,&#160; for both A and B channels, but at the out point it stops dead.So what step did I miss, because I thought that's all I had to do.PBUS switch is &#34;off&#34; on the Lance, switcher is a Zodiak. Thanks in advance.

<title>Kalypso Transform Engine Help in Sponsored Product Forums : GVG Switchers</title>

<description>First, delegate your M/E &#38; keyer in the Key Modifier module. Then press EFF SEND to send that keyer to a Transform Engine.&#160; Transform Engines can only affect keyers. As long as a TE is attached to a keyer, its timeline actually lives with the M/E's Keyer's timeline.&#160; The TE's have no timeline of their own.As long as it doesn't affect your on-air image, at the end of your effect if you turn off the EFF SEND it'll put that TE channel back into the &#34;pool&#34; for use elsewhere where other Keyer's/M/E E-MEM's can pick them up.&#160; Otherwise, if you do all of you TE's on the same M/E, each E-MEM will take care of dropping &#38; picking up the available TE's.

<description>I am trying to use the transform engines to do a live squeeze back of video over a graphic.&#160; I can't seem to get them to work right.&#160; How do you attach them to a timeline.&#160; I have not gotten them to do any movement.&#160; &#160;Also I am working on a switcher that only has 3 transform engines.&#160; I run out of them really fast how do you assign them so the follow the emem recall.Any help on this would be apprciated.

You're right - I am indeed in the UK, so I guess my bandwidth from Japan may not be too great.&#160; Pity.

If you switch it from &#34;switching mode&#34; to &#34;viewing mode&#34; it gets a lot better... Click the &#34;switch&#34; button down in the lower left. It probably has to do with having to buffer footage in advance. In switching mode it has to buffer all 12 streams, while in viewing mode it knows which single stream to buffer, so it can throw more bandwidth at it.
Thanks for this - but it doesn't seem to make any difference in my case whether I'm in &#34;switching mode&#34; or &#34;viewing mode&#34; - the main picture is still unviewably blocky... oh well.&#160; A shame there's no option for downloading the streams onto your hard-drive, and playing them out from there.&#160; About 18 years ago the organisation I worked for had a primitive version of something like this that allowed you to try cutting a soap on 3 or 4 cameras.&#160; This used a laserdisc attached to a PC, and, for its time, was pretty good.&#160; Imagine what could be achieved on today's PCs?

<description>I used to have to make timing adjustments when I still worked in broadcast.&#160; But never had to start from scratch.&#160; Here is a link to a used &#34;Times Six&#34; sync you referenced. Is this the one?&#160; http://www.tvprogear.com/catalog/produc &#8230; eSupport=1Also, would this replace my current GVG sync gen?I'll also poke around the links you listed... thanks very much.
