Graphical Timeline Lies

"New edits can be added while in the GT."

Sorry, thanks for playing, but that is a lie.

Unfortunately, you cannot add new edits while in the GT. The Graphic Timeline is a real-time display and manipulation of the text-based EDL. It is really cool and more than just a "pretty little thing." So, if you haven't poked around with it, yet, to see all that it has to offer, check the online help menus on the Axial, the operations manuals and don't forget about the Secrets right here online.

"You can plug in a mouse to do cut & paste in the GT."

Yeah, right. Pull this leg, it plays Jingle Bells.

It would be nice, but you cannot do any of the word processing-type of commands in the Axial Graphic Timeline. You can easily jump back to the text list, though, and easily add an edit using the Clip Library or the old-fashioned ways of marking or setting in a timecode number.

You know, I should probably call the GT the Graphical Timeline not the Graphic Timeline. The Net Police after come after me.
