Kalypso Menu on PC - no frame file access

We are running Version 10.2.1 in Multi Suite mode with Touch Screen menu in one Studio, and Win2000 PC with Menu on PC in the 2nd Studio - this all works OK.
I have loaded Menu on PC on another Win 2000 laptop PC - Menu functions look like they all work ok - and all ENG setting etc are displayed OK (eg Source definitions etc track the frame setups) - however, I cannot access the Kalypso Frame User Directory files(ie when trying save/load from ENG or Daily Menus etc.) The Frame Icon is displayed, but cannot be opened.
I can access the laptop Menu PC hard drive ok in this mode. EIC login makes no difference.
It also manifests itself in the Daily Profiles menu with an "Unable to Set path:" message instead of "Frame" on the top line of the path.
Frame pings ok from this laptop, and there are no IP address conflicts.
The Laptop?s IP is registered in the ENG System suite settings, and the laptop has the Frame IP entered in ENG System settings.
Have tried removing and reloading software on the laptop, rebooting frame etc. to no avail.
