v12 EXT Device issuess

I was wondering if anyone else ran in to this problem. I'm running v9.1.5 on one Kalypso in our plant. I take control of the same profile channels and load my emems into another Kalypso in our plant running v12. Most of my emems work with the exception of any effect that has a profile load/cue/play function. I can rebuild the effect and all is well. I've also had a profile die and had to switch to another profile. Same switcher, but different profile. The same issue occurs. I can load event lists but the emems don't work and I have to rebuild my timelines. Anyone have any ideas/thoughts?
