Reducing White Saturation in Qeffects

I am trying to reduce the white saturation in Qeffects, both reducing the contrast or the white fettle when in YUV, but it results in a bluish tone in the saturated areas and it flattens the rest of the image. I can mask the area, but still how can I reduce the white saturation to broadcast friendly levels but still keep it slightly white?
