Hi everyone. Some may have read my post in the TD forum about a Panasonic switcher I was trying to help someone with. It has been interesting to say the least. I am working in Japan on a Sony MVS 8000 and have a few questions. The software is 3.10 installed in 2004. They have no desire to update. What software version is the MVS 8000 up to? Can I attach macros with this software? I can't seem to. Can I rename macros? I can't seem to. I can only access 6 macro's on the panel. The switcher I am using has 2 columns and 4 rows for a flexi pad NOT our traditional telephone style keypad. There is no shift option. I can only use the same six macros on any of the 3 ME's (2ME 1PP) What would be button 7 says 01/01 but will not change to anything if tapped. The 8th button is blank - should be take if a timeline right? But when it was a macro that recalled a timeline the Take wouldn't do anything. Why won't a macro record "rev" and "norm" of the DVE control? I know that is a wierd request but the DVE control is way out in front of the Director Position and I would like to be able to run in reverse sometimes. Thanks everyone!
