Southern California...who does the crewing for sports?

Hi,
Sorry to post off topic, but I figured this was the best place to get the info I'm looking for. I'm looking to get back into the freelance sports world here in the Los Angeles area. I used to do cameras and replays a million years ago when I lived in New England, but I've been working news/talk here in LA for a long time and it's kind of getting boring, so I want to mix things up a little bit, but it's next to impossible to get into this scene if you don't know anyone.

I was wondering if anyone could help me out and let me know who does the crewing for smaller regional sporting events here in the LA area...I'm talking things like HS Football, smaller college sports, etc. I work in news as a director and AD, but my sports experience is mainly as a cam op and replay op.

Any information you might have as to who I could get in contact with to get some small jobs would be great. I don't really have any contacts in the sports world.
