Ramcorder still is a clip?

I've got a variety of tga files on USB that have been converted to XXTENDD files. They're all different stills. One is much bigger than the rest (1gb - the rest are 3mb) and is supposed to be a moving sequence. It will only come up and load into the ramcorder under the still menu, but I can't see any way to run it - it will only load a still image. Any tips?
