Hello All,

Happy June 1st!

I ran into an intersting problem last night... It bit me in the buttock durring the show....

I have a timeline built in M/E 1... and a similar timeline built in M/E 2... it workes perfectly fine in M/E 1, but not in M/E 2. So I said to myself, "Self, I need to use the M/E 1 version of this timeline in M/E 2 (for a back to back effect)". So I called up the timeline in M/E1 and called up the same register in M/E2, held down the STORE button in M/E 1 and the store button in M/E 2 and waited for the beep. It beeped, and as I've done a million times before, the timeline is copied from M/E 1 to M/E 2. Right?

NNOOOOOOOOOO.

For some reason no matter how many times I tried to "fast copy" this effect, the "older version" of the effect is the one that still remained in M/E 2. I tried DELETEING the M/E 2 version, and then copy it down... but still no luck.

Any thoughts on this? I've always had this function work for me, without any issues... What's the dealy-o?

Thanks for the help, as always.

Scotty

Does transferring the effect the "long way" have any impact at all? From the Tim/E-Memo screen on the sidepanel, use the Transfer Memo button in the upper-right to transfer that register in M/E1 down to M/E2. I don't know if that helps at all... - Nathan
