Your Setup...

All...
I'm fairly new to the TD game. I've really only been punching on a professional level for a little over a year now (and it's been in news). I currently work on a 4k, DVEous, Pinnacle Thunder, and iNews for our rundowns. I really haven't had the chance to see how other houses or trucks are set up. To all the TD's out there, if you could post pictures and possibly an explanation of the way your control room/ truck/whatever you happen to be working in that day is set up, I'd greatly appreciate it.
Thanks in advance,
Allan
PS: here's a photo of the setup I use everyday

Here's a few photos of Telemundo Los Angeles that are sure to make Jeremy skeeve:

And speaking of "relics of the past," I recently dredged up some old Vegas photos from about 16 years ago:
Stephan, what is "fun" is when a truck company decides to provide a client with a "super" truck and the client doesn't understand what they are getting and they refuse to authorize early call times so things can get done in time for air.
I certainly don't envy the MNF crew this week... The Metrodome's in baseball mode for the Twins/Blue Jays series so nothing on the field can get run until some time tonight when they fold out the bleachers for football. I caught a glimpse of a crew schedule and couldn't believe it, no utilities till 3:30 the day of the show. And I hear that this week is the first time they'll be using the new fiber drops they've had installed in all the stadiums around the country. Bet that'll be fun to fax at the last minute.

MNF has been setting up next to our baseball show last few days and I got to take a peek inside NEP SS25. Simply amazing trucks, I can only dream of working in something like that one day. The tape room is a sight to behold with its huge wall of LCD monitor panels, and the full-color monitor wall in production with 13" monitors for cameras. Yeow. Amazing.

There is a TD nice comparison,
CBS Golf Masters... 8K switcher, shot box, DME's, still store
Dveous (hiding somewhere)
MSNBC Cable... 4K switcher, internal framestore (4 pages !! video and key!!), master emems
DVEous
Thunder (4 channels)
Bug box (5 different bugs)
Router for 14 remotes
Router for on set monitors (ridiculous amount of monitors and 5 color
correctors)
Frame sync controller for the video challenged PM's
Unused camera shading RCP's (6)
Buttons for on air light that prevent the fire alarm from getting on the air if you remember to press it.
Loose papers.. rundown, still store stack list and remote list which will all change at any moment.
Inews PC to try and keep up with what the paper won't keep up with, producers.
(I left out salary comparison, sure you can guess)
Coolest MSNBC feature (wall/console between director and TD)
Coolest CBS feature, uhhh.. hold on I will think of something
:)
Great pictures though keep them coming

LOL... it's really not that bad.
The camera shading units are relics from the past. As far as I know, they don't even work. We have a lovely video lighting department that shades the cameras better than I ever could. The area is a little messy because the pic was taken at the end of the day after half a dozen different TD's were through there.

And scrolling the teleprompter.
The worst part, though, is the director, this big bald guy who's always saying stuff like "Ready camera 3... Engage!" and "Weather is next, make it so number one."
