Does anyone have a recommendation for a DDR I can use as a cache device for my Axial? All I need is something that will cache and playback (in all SD and HD formats). Don't need hours of storage or any other bells and whistles....Just the basics so I don't tie up other VTR's in our machine room.

Thanks.....Jeff

Hi Jeff, How's it going? I actually just got back from some testing at Abekas with an Axial and their ClipStoreMX and ClipStoreMXc DDRs. I tweaked the specfiles to they lock up in 10 frames and are working very well with the RAVE s/w, too. Here's the link to their site: http://abekas.com/products/clipstoremxc/index.html And these are pretty inexpensive, I do believe. Yeah, I'm biased, but at least I'm honest about it. Not sure about other options. Regards, John
