Hello,

I am new to the Grass Valley 3000 switcher, formerly a TD on the DD35.

I created a timeline and tried to save it to my floppy, but the keyframes inside the timeline won't save to that floppy. All the header information (like source holds, auto recall, and enable/delegates) are saved. So when I load the file (Master Emem register) up from the disk, and call up the time line, only the enables/delegates show up on the panel, and in the keyframe menu, there are no keyframes. Is there some setting somewhere that I am forgetting to do?

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks!

Nick

Thanks for the help, I took your advice and it worked fine. All the keyframes and everything else were there. Thanks! Nick

Also, make sure which mode you're running the Master E-MEM in. It has 2 styles - in 300 mode, it acts like the old 300 switcher, where the Master E-Mem is just a pointer for the M/E recalls - it has no keyframes of its own. In NORMAL mode, the Master E-MEM has its own timelines - the downside is that in this mode, whatever number you store in the Master is also stored in the attached M/E's. But if you're not seeing timelines being saved in the Master timeline area, the mode may be the probem.

Nick[/quote] Nick when you do a save make sure you are saving all parameters, ME 1, ME 2, etc, etc. I usually just save all for everything regardless of what is where in the effect. Also check your available DPM keyframes if those are involved. There is a small pool of keyframes (400 I think). To check go into the emem menu, and look at the list. should say available keyframes. If it is only a few you will need to erase some. Also under emem menu, clear registers. Hope this helps Bill
