Hi, all. I have a chance to possibly work some Hornets home games. Anyone worked them this year and willing to share some insight?

I'm at that stage of doing a few shows a year, but everytime something new pops up I seek out all the info I can.

Thanks in advance,

Sean

Scott, thanks for the info. Turns out I won't be doing it (by the time I got back to the crewer the dates were filled, that's what I get for not looking at email before bed!). Sounds like I missed a good one, too. Your insight is still appreciated. Sean

You will be working with Gary Kirby. He cuts a pretty straight forward show. All of their effects are fast forward based. They do not bring their own drives. The tape rip is fairly short and Gary will go over exactly what he needs before hand with you. They go to almost every break with a capper that takes you to black. They have a pre game show and a short post game hit. You will need to build a pre game tease and a game tease using a specific fast forward element. Gary will tell you to be creative and Scott(producer) will probably not like it, so be conservative. He has a few DVE effects that are used for pre pro. Save them because the line ups change frequently. he fast forward tape was created by their home TD and he built it where loops points are exactly at the beginning and end of the animations. Gary is a real nice guy. You will like working for him. Scott
