I am trying to create a macro to downstream CG1 and a file server, which is cropped using pattern limit, simultaneously. I am trying to avoid utilizing two keys every time I key in/out.
Any ideas? I have never created a macro before. I'm not sure what software I am using. Thanks in advance for the help.

Do you mean that you don't want to press 2 key buttons or that you want both keys to come in as one keyer? If you want the 2 sources to come in as 1 keyer, then you should route the server as in input to the CG, have the CG key itself over the server, & output the combined signal as the CG input to the switcher. If you're on a SONY, you don't need a macro to being on 2 keyers with one button: Menu page 7336.7 allows you to assign one keyer a a Master & a 2nd keyer as a linked key...activating the Master will automatically cause the linked key to follow. On a Kalypso, build a simple macro that just presses the CUT button on the 2nd keyer. Attach that macro to the CUT button on the 1t keyer. Now both keyers will respond when you hit the CUT button on the 1st keyer. You can also do this same technique on the keyer's AUTO TRANS button. Just make sure that the ATTACH ENABLE button is active.
