Hello,
I am on a Kalypso and I am trying to duplicate what I used to do on a 4K.
I want to use a secondary wipe or any wipe, on the 4K there used to be a texture area that you could add to a wipe or a bgd. I see it in thebgd menu, but it does not have free run on it. I don't se it at all in the wipe araea like on a 4K.
I am trying to create a static looking wipe, like I said 4K no problem, any thoughts of how I can do the same, maybe I am missing it in a menu?
thanks
Bill
Yeah, the free running on the texture generator kind of got "left out", much to the dismay of many of us. The way that I recreate this is to take the secondary wipe generator & use a small random pattern. I then multiply this out as far as possible - both H & V. I then aspect is & start it rotating really fast. Add some mudulation to minimize the fact that it's not truly random. You can then mix this into the primary pattern to add that "diamond dust" edge to patterns on the Primary side.
Left out.. wow, uhhh, not good. I tried what you said, and it looks pretty good, but definitly not the free run. The texture is there under bgd matte's but no free run. Thanks Bob
You could use the utility channel to feed the static to a border or background. Look through the Matte menu to select the utility channel for the wipe or keyer you want to use.
Mongo I am aware of that, but I want to create the static using a wipe or one of the bgds. Not use a clip of static. thanks
