User manual for Sony 7000?

Hi all..

Anyone know where I can download a user manual for the Sony 7000 switcher? I normally TD on a Grass, but have one client who uses a 7k, and I've fumbled my way thru, but really need to learn it better...

I found some quick tips on some things, but not the manual I was looking for. What I need is more like a tutorial, that details building timelines, using the shotbox, etc. The Operators Manual that I found was more about installation and setup than actual use. Anywhere else I can look? Thanks

Thanks, Matt... I'm having trouble getting in. I can get to ftp.sony.com, but there's no switcher folder. I'm not real familiar with ftp protocol, so do I need to type in "switcher@ftp.sony.com"? That doesn't seem to work either. Sorry for my ignorance!

Thanks[/quote] Visit switcher@ftp.sony.com -- the login name is switcher, and leave the password blank. Go to the "Operator Manuals" folder, where you'll find folders for the DVS-7000 series switcher and the DME-7000. Hope that helps! Matt
