Hi all..beginner TD here. Wanting to know if somone can talk me thru how to make the profile 'talk' to the switcher, setting up a timeline and such on a GV 4000. Am wanting to play around with it next
weekend. If you have any steps that you usually use when setting up, let me know.

Thanks[/quote] With a 4k, you are going to need an external box to control the Profile. We have the same sort of setup, and use a Buf Spot panel. We used to use a DNF controller also. Basically your switcher talks PBUS to the external box...box controls profile. Profile, atleast the ones we have, will not talk PBUS directly. Not sure about the newer Profiles. Curt
