Sony 9100 editor control of Kahuna

I've gleaned from the Sony forum that if I've been controlling the Abekas A82 switcher with my 9100 editor and now want to control the Kahuna, I need Sony 9100 editor control software model BZE9604 v5.01. This is the recommended software verstion for controlling the Sony DVS 7000, which I believe the Kahuna emulates. Can I get a confirmation on this?

Sorry, I've been on vacation. The lab is using BZE9601 version 3.00 which is quite old. If you set Kahuna to use Sony DVS protocol the communication between the switcher and the editor should be fine unless you have an older BZE9601 version or unless something was broken in newer versions of BZE software.
