Hiya all

I'm making a master snapshot (ME3 and DMEs 1,2,3,4 plus USER 8 for a colour background) with all 4 DME channels on ME3 K1.

Is it possible to turn on Cross point hold on the ME SS, so that the inputs to the DME channels do not change whilst still assigning them all to ME3 K1 as part of the ME snapshot?

When I turn Xpt hold on for the Key, the DME's do not assign to that Key when I recall the Snapshot.

In other words I want my 4 DME channels to be keyed on as part of the Mast Snapshot, but I want to be able to to select the sources to them prior to recalling the snapshot.

Is this possible?

many thanks (again)

Hi...... There is a setting that you need to change. Go to Engr Setup menu # 7335. You will see at the bottom "XPT HOLD MODE". It is probably set to KEY DISABLE. If you set it to XPT HOLD it will solve your problem. You need to do this for each M/E. KEY DISABLE basically says to not do ANYTHING with the key when XPT HOLD is turned on, which is what's happening. XPT HOLD says to just hold crosspoints,. RE
