Hello Friends,

We at KGW want to make better use of our DEKO system. And we want to do it without tying up one of our four master E-mem keyers. The ND's goal is to incorporate snipes from DEKO in addition to running the time/temp bug from DEKO. Our goal is to minimize changes in the existing control room setup. I think we could send our program feed from Kalypso to DEKO and MC could take the DEKO feed to air. If that?s the setup then how do we run the time/temp bug and snipes simultaneously? Anyone have idea ideas? Help!

Thanks,
Mike

I'm thinking that if you use a DekoCast downstream of your Kalypso, you can just make an 'action' that would add/remove your snipes while leaving the time and temperature in. And like you mentioned, MC could just take the DekoCast as the source instead of Studio (don't forget the audio delay on the DekoCast, too). Matt
