Anyone know of any with a Ross board, onboard?

Cool cool, keep the info coming. To respond to some comments. I dont know why Helicopter hates Ross, like I have told other people...I ve had limited experience on multiple boards, the Sony 7000 being the one most used, having the Ross at work and using it everyday is the best thing I think I couldve had as a young TD. They are very user friendly and highly easy to not only learn, but to see your capabilities rise rapidly on. I love em, call me partial, but I love em. I have used the Kalypso sparingly as well. To back Les up, I am very willing to lend a email help or phone help to those in need.
but they have TD's there that can only use the Overdrive and don't know a thing about the switcher itself. Scary.
you get that everywhere. a couple td's build all the effects and know the switcher really well, and everyone else just pushes the buttons you tell them to push.

WPEC in West Palm Beach has the Synergy with Overdrive. It's very impressive and seems easy to learn, but they have TD's there that can only use the Overdrive and don't know a thing about the switcher itself. Scary.
Ross=crap defined.
Why are you spaming these comments out here? I have been using Ross Products for years and have been able to accomplish a lot with them. Also any time I am stuck I have always been able to talk to Tech Support---For Free!!!!!! No offense but I would really like to understand why you are bashing one of the few Companies that is not out to try and charge you for every last thing.

Catch47 out of Tampa has a Synergy 3 SD on their truck. There are also a bunch of Rogers Television trucks up in Canada and some Flight Packs up here as well. Dome has a Synergy 2.5MD that was used during the Winter Olympics, the Tri-lite eng told me that they also have a flight pack with a Ross Synergy MD switcher. The truck that was in town though had a Sony 7000 series on it though. Buffalo Bills have a Vision 3 running there new 85 Foot HD board. Pony Power what don't you like about it? I am not the most experienced user of other products since most of my exposure is to the Ross products as they are what I know. Also most of the places up here in Canada all have a Ross Switcher so you get more exposure to them. Maybe I can lend you a hand I know ai21 also uses one and has been able to lend help out as well.

One of the UniSat production / uplink trucks based in Los Angeles has a Ross 1.5MLE switcher. Also, the E! Entertainment satellite truck has a Ross. Both are pretty powerful, considering the small amount of rackspace they take up.

Verizon Center, DC, has a Synergy for screen usage. Comcast Center, University of Maryland, has one as well.

I know of 2 in trucks ... one is the Clear Channel truck based in Little Rock, AR (), and the other is the Bright House truck here in Orlando. Like Stephan, I've also seen lots of Ross boards in venue set-ups, and Government control rooms, too. Matt

Nothing major I know of. I mostly see them in cable access trucks/studios, IMAG/corporate setups, churches, and in-house control rooms at sporting arenas (locally, the Target Center uses one, and I think the Xcel Center does as well).
