FYI,
Just want to let other TD's know that I've experienced issues with my cell phone being in close proximity to the switcher. If my phone is too close when receiving or making a call, the SONY will actually cut to different sources, change keyers, add source holds...it's weird. I now turn my phone off during any shows and keep it far away from the switcher. It's an older NOKIA and I have cingular as a network provider.

We had the same issue with cell phones on our switcher. Sony came out and applied some type of modification to the conrtol panel. It appears that the modification only applies to certain early panels with optical buttons.

I had a Grass 3k burp like that during the Fall. My phone is an LG but the carrier was ATT.

I know someone with an I-phone that had the same problems on the 8K. Guess you really could phone it in.
