Hello,

Has anyone had any problems w/ their 1RU Aux panels not updating w/ a setup load?...For instance...Button XX is Cam 1 in one setup, but SSA in another. Loading the SSA Setup doesn't switch button 1 to SSA. A reload of the setup corrects the issue.

We are on an 8000 w/ 5.42... but have also had similar problems with our 8000A also.

I know there is the Src Name Export...which seems to work when we make changes to the name table...but this problem seems to be the actual source...not just the name.

thank you

Curt

I have just discovered that if someone changes a crosspoint locally (that is, at the 1RU panel), you can no longer change that crosspoint at the main switcher until you change the crosspoint back locally to match the table being sent to it by the switcher. -Jon

Aux panel crosspoint data is stored as part of Panel Init Status, rather than Panel Setup. Init Status data is only loaded after a reset, not when you load a file from disk. So you need to recall the init status file then reboot the panel for changes to take effect.

Dan, Good thought...I will double check, but I am pretty sure we are running all the same since reloading the same setup seems to correct the problem. Your idea though got me thinking that we may be on the wrong table for another issue we are having. I will have to check that also thank you Curt

Could be that one of the Aux panels is on a different Table Xpoint assignment. --- Dan
