I'm not very familiar with the clipstore DDR so I have this basic question to ask.
After laying down the element reel (without slaving the tape timecode) I wanted to restripe it so it was close to the element reels timecodes. I recorded about 25 minutes of crap and I wanted to restripe it so it started at 1:00:00:00. Do I do this in TCN (timecode native) or LTC and how?

Anyone?

Thanks

You can only do this in TCN. Using the Lance or the mouse, cue up to the point that you wish to mark as a know time code point. Then, using the mouse, click on the REC DUR field until it says TCN OFFSET. (Be sure to actually click on the words "REC DUR" and not the numbers in the timecode field.) Now, type in the timecode value you wish to assign to that point and press ENTER. Now everything before and ahead of that point will have the value you wish. The LTC track is not affected. Only the TCN track. Regards, Bill Poore MTVG 12HDX
