When saving your snapshots/macros, if you have made any key adjustments that could be causing the trouble as well.
Get the key set properly on key source one over background one (I'm presuming Mike C is right with his 9 combos theory). Turn off key memory, then change to key source 2- which should mean all key values stay exactly the same. Now store key source 2 over background 1. So on and so forth.
Of course, that only works if all three key sources can be set up with the same parameters. If they can't...well, it seems to me you will always see something as the keyer runs from setting A to setting B.

What are the backgrounds? Stills? Animations?
Am I understanding this right, you have backgrounds A, B and C and any of the three can be used with cameras 1, 2 or 3. A total of nine combination's, right?
One issue, no matter what make/model of switcher is that the box has to think about the values and execute the effect.

i tried that before but if you want to go hot you get a slight jump/shift when the snapshot is selected by it self or via macro. it works on the preset then cut to pgm,but i was wondering if there was a way to do it hot to pgm.
