I'm trying to build a macro that will grab and store frame mems ... I was going the 'menu macro' route, but couldn't figure out if I could program a wild-card name for naming and storing those FMs. Any thoughts or ideas?

Thanks!
Matt

I thought that the name + number would probably be what it would try to do...I would just build one still with a generic name & let the auto store keep adding numbers. But let me know if you find a different solution. I don't need this particular macro functionality for what I'm doing, but this would be a great thing to know for the future.

Thanks, Bob. I did try the Auto Store route, and had a similar result to yours ... it seemed that not entering a name caused the new grab to use the name of the previous FM, plus a number. So, I'm close ... but, like you, I always ended-up overwriting the same still. I'll try a few more things today and see what I can come up with. Thank you, Bob! Matt

When I built mine to do this, I was always overwriting the same image. I thus entered a specific name & then OK'd the overwrite. I would assume (and I've been wrong before) that if you didn't specifically enter a name, or used the AUTO STORE function, that it would give the still the next generic name (image001, etc.).
