I have been trying to assign a Macro to a shotbox register.
It appears to work on the Large Shotbox panel, but I can't seem to get it on the ME flex pad.
Is there a reason for this? Am I doing something wrong or maybe it is just a limitation.
Does this mean anyone who does not purchase the large Shotbox panel can not assign Macro to an ME flexpad?
Thanks

In version 7.2, you can assign macros to a timeline. This macro timeline will show up as a resource in the Shotbox setup menu (page 6411.1). So if you have 7.2, you can assign a macro (timeline) to a shotbox. Otherwise, it's as jbs said.

Toronto... you cannot put a macro on a shotbox, only snapshots and timeline effects. The "Large Shotbox panel" is actually a utility box. The confusion probably lies both with its official name - Utility/Shotbox - and the fact that by default all buttons are assigned to the first 96 of the 99 shotbox registers. What you did was assign a macro to a utility button, not a shotbox register. I don't think I have ANY buttons on mine assigned to call up shotboxes - they're pretty much all macros and a couple are GPI test buttons.
