We are trying to figure out how to fire a GPI trigger from a Kalypso to a kayak. We are doing basically the same show, just different elements. For instance if the main truck is going to replay how can they trigger OUR elements? Also is there a toggle switch in the case we don't want to go to replay and they do? Any help would be appreciated.

What Sean said sounds like what we used to do for MLS games all the time.

If its definitely going to be done with two trucks and two TDs, etc (which is how it sounds to me)...instead of GPI'ing it and then having to toggle something off, take a clean feed out of their MEs and map them as sources on your board. So, you have the source that is the other trucks game ME clean. When that TD effects to his replay ME, you simply effect to your input that is his replay ME clean. I've used this setup and from the big truck had both clean and dirty feeds of each ME so we could take as much or as little as we wanted. Also there is usually all or some of the cameras direct. I've done this once or twice and often would just end up taking the game ME and going along for the ride up until replay time. You just need to make sure you know exactly how the main truck TD intends to switch. Basically, he has to promise to always go to ME 2 for replays and to always use ME1 for splits, etc...which most do anyway. Hope that helps! Sean

Well that is not a problem if you can split the M/E as I mentioned for the other feed!

Then you can send a trigger to it's Lance thus doing the replay yourself with a split M/E and your clean feeds.
