What are the steps to send a replay emem to ME 3 RUN button again?
Wouldn't that run the last emem recalled on the MASTER emem? Shouldn't you also macro attach the ME3 emem to the Master emem?
Yes, it would - I believe that's what he is asking for...basically a way to make the M/E 3 RUN button into a Master Run button so that he doesn't have to reach so far. I like to use the TRIGGER button on the Transition Module to do this...after all, it's not doing anything else.

Mongo, if you were so inclined you could change E-Mem prefs so that ME3 would recall any master E-Mem, BUT then you lose ME-3 E-Mem functionality. What I would do, is have several macros, that recall my Master E-Mems, attached to say my camera crosspoints on Key1 on the PGM/PST bus. With your left hand you could recall any effect and run it with the right hand. (on the ME3 E-Mem panel)
OK - to do this, (1) Build a macro that presses the master e-mem's RUN button. (2) At the yellow macro buttons, press MACRO DELEGATE (if it isn't already lit), then light the yellow REPLACE ATTACH button. (3) Press the macro that you want to attach (the one that hits the RUN button), followed by M/E 3's RUN button. Now, as long as the ATTACH ENABLE button is lit, pressing the M/E 3 RUN button will run the Master RUN button.
Wouldn't that run the last emem recalled on the MASTER emem? My apologies, Bob, I didn't state my need clearly. What I want is to use the RUN button on ME3 to run my effects, instead of the RUN button next to M-EMEM pad so I don't have to reach so far. I have used it in the past, but it has been a while and I have forgotten how to map the trigger, or attach macro, etc. Thanks for all the other info, though.

If you're going to do your replays ON M/E 3, then along with the M/E 3 keyframes that perform the transition, you'll also want to assign any of your replay graphics devices from a MISC level to the M/E 3 level. That way, pressing the M/E 3 RUN button will trigger the devices as well as do the transition on M/E 3. If you want to leave the replay effect down on the PGM bus, then you'd build PGM keyframes that do the transition and any graphic external devices using the Master E-MEM area. Then you could build a macro that recalls the replay effect, waits a few frames, then runs the effect. Then you'd attach the MACRO recalls to the M/E 3 level. Now you can have different effects on M/E 3 that can incorporate different macros on a 2nd KF that call up different transitional effects when you RUN M/E 3. Most people I know tend to use the various e-mems on M/E 3 to recall cameras with/without fonts, so I am not sure where you're going with this - but these are the steps to do what you are asking about...I'm sure that others may have different approaches. Level assignments are done in the Daily Setups/Suite Prefs/E-MEM Prefs menu.
