Maybe it's because we don't use Clip Stores but I have had several production teams show up with no log or cue sheet for their Fast Forward drives lately. I had one director say "well, you just have to search through and find the stuff". I tried to explain to him that in theory the material could be anywhere within a 24 hour range.

Why is it that some people understand and are willing to help the TD and others just don't get it.

A happy TD makes for a better show.

Had the same thing happen to me yesterday...loaded in the FF drives...and no cueman or log sheet! Luckily I didn't need to record anything else onto the FF and risk the chance of blowing out something already on there, but it is still aggravating Michael Nice

Funny, because if they don't point out what they need, Im not clipping it off. "Standby to Run your Honda Play of the game effect!"...... followed by the breif argument of "what do you mean you don't have it, I know it's there somewhere!?.... oh well. :)

Zipp, no, I was talking about a few NBA shows I have run into lately. BTW, worked with your buddy Jason. We will be sharing a switcher the next few days.

Mike, You must be talking about the network that stores their info at hour 8 for basketball. Some one almost deleted their drives because they couldn't find the info. Still no cue sheet or backup reel. Life of a TD.
