Hi Guys,

I have spent the day setting up for a Golf here and have a question that had stumoed me all day.

There is an RTD on Key 4 (for graphics overlay/transition) and 2 graphics computers on Key 1 and Key 2. When I select BG and Key 1 or Key 2 to transition the computers composite as a wipe, the BG wipe is diffierent and independant of the key wipes. I am sure this is only a setting somewhere but I am blown if I can figure out where.

Even if I set the key wipe to the same as the BG wipe, they are out of sync when the wipe occurs.

Any Sugestion would be greatly appreciated.

Dave

Yes... you lose trans pvw and the next key priority function.

I believe that it disables Transition PVW as well as changing the ways that keys are assiciated to the Transition Module.

David, If you are in Multi PGM or Multi PGM 2 mode, each keyer and your A/B bus transition type and duration are independent of each other. If you're in Standard Mode, your keyers and A/B bus transition type and duration all follow whatever you have set in your transition module. When in Multi PGM or Multi PGM 2 mode, you need to manually make your wipe and trans rate on your A/B bus the same as each of your keyers. It's a pain but it's the only way to do it. -Allan

Hello ! Far from being a Sony expert, but I remember something wierd when the MultiPGM was activated in the ME Output menu on the 8k. When that was on, and you put a bordure on your wipe, it was not working on the keyer, but that might not be it too, hope this help !
