When grabbing Chyron into my FM I easily select the channel on fm 1 then select the key channel on fm 2.
But if I build something on an ME, say for example a circle with a picture in it. How do I get the Frame memory to give me a matte key on FM 2, so I can key it.
Seems like every source I grab, tends to be a luminance key.
I have select V/K mode on the Frame Memory.
Cheers

Switch, On the keyer module (the only one with knobs other than the menu) you will see a button labeled FM FEED. Use this just like you'd use one of the DME buttons.... Select your M/E and Key combination then press FM FEED. Whatever is on the keyer (both V and K) will be fed into the FMS1 and FMS2 Frame memory inputs, respectively. It works exactly like the DME, whatever's on the key gets fed there. RE

There is a preview mode that can give you the combined keyed sources of an M/E. It also can be used to do a layered mode on the 8000. You would want to feed that into your FM 2. Hopefully someone will answer.
