Hi all,

Does anyone know if it's possible to use a DVS9000 control panel with an MVS8000 mainframe?

I want to use 2 control panels to share an MVS8000a system and want to know what control panels to hunt around for. Obviously the MVS8000a comes with a control panel but need to know what my options are for the secondary control panel?

Thanks

Like Bill said, the panel was designed with the user in mind, making the adjustment to different switcher frames nearly transparent when operating the panel. When we upgraded from the DVS-9000 to the MVS-8000G, there were some minor chipset upgrades needed in the SCU, but we continued using the same panel, only adding a few button labels for features that were added with the new frame. Taking it a step further, when were were implementing the 8000G but still using the 9000 on the air, we would swap the network cable back and forth depending on what we needed to do as we rehearsed for the HD world. What you're looking to do should be super-easy to set-up...

There is only one panel, they are the same no matter the frame.
