Just a quick question,

On a Sony DVS 7350 Vision Mixer is it possible to map Downstream Keys to Programme buttons? For example when Camera 1 is selected DSK 1 is switched on, When Camera 2 is selected DSK 1 switches off and DSK 2 is switched on and so on...

I've been looking through all the manuals and cant find a way round this problem.

Thanks for your help

James

OK so far so good, Just have one last issue ( I Hope ! ) AUX Remote Panels.. I've got two currently installed running off the BKDS-8060 interface unit. I've tried installing a third AUX Remote Panel by attaching another BKDS-8060 interface unit into the back of the first unit and then attaching the AUX Remote to that. The problem i'm having is that the 3rd panel appears linked to 1st panel, Is there a way to tell the unit that this is a spearate AUX remote and not just a mimic of the first unit? Thanks again for all your help so far James

James...If you're looking at using "latching" GPI's to trigger your CG's, you may want to save a step & just use the tally as the trigger. That way it would stay on for the length of time that you're using the source.

Thank you very much for getting back to me Bill, Think it might be a little tricky that way I think. Another solution to my problem that I discovered the other day would be firing off GPI output triggers to the graphics guys who in turn will send back the correct graphics depending on the camera angle. I've got as far as the link menu.. see my screen shot: all seems to be set ok.. Does the GPI contact closure remain closed all the time the camera that it is linked to remains cut up on the mixer or does it send a quick pulse.. There is nothing in the manual that explains this really. My tests so far have proven inconclusive. Many thanks James

I think there is a dsk drop when you cut that is about all. Only way to do it on the 8K is macros. Could use a snapshot or effect or something, then you would have to cut your cameras through effects.
