Hello,

Normally when I create an effect that controls a DDR machine as soon I set the in point a keyframe is automatically created which is great. Then I set the out point and I?m done.
My question has to do when I delete this keyframe. When I try to set a new in point the in the same register the keyframe is not automatically inserted anymore.

If I recall a new register and do the same thing it works.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Bob, Thanks for the suggestion. Using menu 6226 and selecting only the device I was using it does delete the keyframe. But the total number of keyframes available only gets update properly when I recall a new register and then back to the original one. Regards,

If the switcher's logic is to do the automatic KF insertion on an empty register, and if simply deleting the keyframe doesn't initialize the switcher into thinking that it's on an empty register; then perhaps you might try fooling the switcher & going to the Effect Menu (page 6226), select just the region that you want to affect & DELETE the effect on that level (DEVICE). When you recall the register, now the switcher should think that you're recalling an empty register on that level. That's just my theory - let me know if it works.
