Actually... don't worry.

Think I have a work around.

I import the WAV file into a new Premier Pro project.

To the video layer, I add a title slate, for the hell of it.

I then export as AVI.

You can then use the GV Image Converter program to convert the AVI to XtenDD format file.

It took a few goes at exporting the AVI in a format the Image Converter liked.

(You can tell when it doesn't like the AVI, as it just doesn't create an XtenDD file.)

... just have to wait till I use a KayakHD in Bangkok next week for golf.

Fingers crossed this worked.

:-)

I'd like to be able to do this as well, but we are using thye later KayakHD's now.

ie; run transition animations in Ram 1/2, and roll audio effects in another Ram Rec.

It's easy to convert TGAs to XtenDD format for import into the RamRecs, but audio remains a pain.

Who captures off VT these days - this is so old fashioned?

It would be great to have a converter app to convert WAV, MP3 etc to XtenDD clip format.

Does this exist?

Cheers,
