resizer Borders

I noticed when applying a border to a resizer key that the border starts to come in on the left side of the box before the right side/top and bottom of the box.

I tried it on a DME key and was fine.

Is this some sort of blanking adjustment which applies to only the resizer key.?

Any idea where I can adjust these parameters.
