When I am doing a save all from the register to the HHD I find myself deleting my directory and creating a new one just to get rid of stuff that I have deleted from the regisiter.  If I don't, the empty areas do not get deleted or written over so the next time I do a load all the stuff I once deleted returns.  Can I do a clear before load when saving to the HHD to delete the entire directory before it saves?

Sometimes when I need to just update one file, I just save the registerI need, highlighting only the regions I want to save, if saving effects.

I have also gone in after the fact and deleted files I have accidentally saved right off the hard drive. ( such as things that aren't needed any longer)  Just have to be careful w/ this...since once they are gone, they are gone.

No.  'Clear Before Load' only works when loading.  Creating a new folder is the best way to do a save that does not include deleted items.
