GPI with MVS6000 and DEKO1000

hi all. i need to set up a gpi out from the switcher to a deko 1000 hd.

we've made the connections and tested the gpi output of the switcher and its sending a pulse, but the deko does not respond.

 

someone had the same issue?

I think the deko may need to be in a pause for it to do something from a GPI.  Besides the wiring like Mike mentioned....

One thing to check is does the Deko want +5v DC on the GPI? I don't use the Deko, so I have no idea.
