I will be helping to demonstrate the Sony 8000X, especially for 3D use.  The 8000X has 5 M/Es, 8 keyers per M/E each with a dedicated resizer, and up to 164 inputs.

Seth, not getting there this year. Wish I was.

8000X, slightly different from the old CDL's we used.

In 3D mode, you use two keyers at once to key a graphic or other element, so you then have four keyers. Remember that left-right eye thing. 164 inputs becomes 82 in 3D.

Hi Mike

I read somewhere that as the 8000x is built around 3G technology so  although in 3D/3G mode you reduce the keyers to four per me the number of inputs does not decrease if you are using 3G single link mode. I also believe that unlike duel link switchers you do decrease the number of me at your disposal in 3G/3D mode.
