Hi!

Do anyone know if I can connect a Kayak DD Control Panel  to a more modern frame like a Kayak HD or Karrera frame?

I know that the panel will not use the complete features (like all keys or inputs) but in case of emergency it would be useful.

Thank you in advance.

Regards,

Juan.

It is probably worth calling GV, but I don't think the panels are any different between the SD and HD KAyaks - it is only the software version. SD units - that is the frames - only go to a 6.8 or something version and HD go to 7.xxx - so all you need to know is if your panel supports the latest version. I don't know if the release notes say anything about serial number limits, but that's where I would start. I would also guess that late version panel software is unlikely to be backward compatible.

Thank you John,

Yes, it can work but depens of the version of the panel. And must load the compatible version of software.

Juan.
