Is it possilbe to program a macro or menu macro to run a "clear work buffer" command?

I have a snapshot that does essentially the same thing:  I clear all work buffers, turn all keyers and modifiers off, put black on all busses and save that as a snapshot I named "AllClear".

I don't think you can.

You could clear the work buffer and save a single frame effect and use paths to have the effet only target specific areas. Recall that effect in your macro.
