Menu & Panel = 12.50

DCU = 4.15

Bump of an old post.

What is the latest software version(s) available for a vanilla MVS 8000, circa year 2004? (Not an 8000 A,G,or X.)

Current software version is :

Menu 5.40

PNL1 5.40

DCU1 4.13

SWR1 5.42

DME1 5.42

 

Can I install the 7.21 update available at https://www.servicesplus.sel.sony.com/sony-software-model-CCP8000.aspx ?

Is there a way to back up the current 5.40 build in case of an upgrade failure / compatibility problem?
