imagestore file management

Hi all,

Interested to find out how everyone manages imagestore files.

In our news environment most of our still image file management is done with an old Pinnacle Lightning still store but it's OLD and only SD.  What workflows do people use to transfer files from graphic designers to the switcher?

I can't speak for everyone, but a good way to move Movies is to use MOV files made in anmation codec or AVI uncompressed RGBA. Sequences of stllls work well too - but it usually takes the graphics guys longer to make the sequence. MOVs and AVIs also can bring the audio in, but it is all pretty easy either way.  John
